... there was the truck drivers!
at the motel. Yes - just at the rest stop! I mean .... wiesoooo I always meet such types? ... there was the truck drivers!
Not that would have been somehow evil, dangerous, or rude .... quite the contrary!
I wanted to go straight and he asked me very politely if I could just keep on the table once his tray (tray chassis: a plate mit Fisch, Kartoffeln und Gemüse. Einen frisch zubereiteten Fruchtquark, eine kleine Flasche Weißwein (eine dieser Minifläschchen) und eine Flasche Selters - für einen Brummifahrer eine überaus skurile Zusammenstellung).
Dann zog er aus einer Tasche....... ein weißes Tischtuch!!
- Das breitete er über den Tisch, kramte eine STOFFserviette hervor - zusammen mit einem kleinen Kerzenständer samt Kerze und einen MP3-Player.
- Ich muss verdammt verdutzt geschaut haben - jedenfalls erklärte er mir, dass er es liebt, nach Feierabend an einem schöngedeckten Tisch zu sitzen, gut zu essen und dabei Musik zu hören. Mit einem Augenzwinkern meite er dann noch: "Ich werde zwar reichlich blöd angeschaut von meinen Kollegen, aber ich bin sicher, sie sind nur neidisch!"
Er deckte den Tisch, stellte die Sachen von Tablett darauf und nahm mir selbiges dann ab.
Wie ich um umwandt um zu gehen, hörte ich nur noch aus dem MP3-Player Musik..... ich wills nicht beschwören, aber ich bin mir sicher, dass es "Brüderlein und Schwesterlein" aus der Fledermaus war......
